53rd Essen Conference for Water Management
From March 18 to March 20, 2020 Messe Essen East
Around 1,000 participants attend the conference every year. Over the past 52 years, the event has firmly established itself as a meeting place for experts from the water industry.
A special feature of this three-day event is the breadth of the topics on offer – ranging from perspective, environmental policy, and legal developments to problems and technical innovations in water management.
The organizers address current and forward-looking topics every year. Experienced and renowned experts from science, politics, and industry present their latest research findings and developments in more than 70 different lectures.
The conference also features excursions that showcase modern environmental technology in practice.
There will also be an exhibition in addition to the lectures. The exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to present their products and services in a technology forum.
Moreover, two awards ceremonies are held annually as part of the event. These are the Oswald Schulze Prize and the IFWW Promotion Prize from the Institut zur Förderung der Wassergüte- und Wassermengenwirtschaft e. V.
