Cologne Canal and Wastewater Treatment Colloquium

June 12 to 13 at the Maternushaus, Cologne

The Cologne Canal Colloquium has looked at issues concerning sewage technology for more than twenty years now.

Current topics such as flood protection and risk management, interconnected energy and water infrastructure, urban stormwater management, operation, condition assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation of sewers, the recording and assessment of the environmental hazard potential or influences existing due to extraneous water, but also the assessment of the legal situation will be addressed and deepened. The focus will also be on the topic of water management in the Rhenish mining area in 2023.

Besides topics relating to sewage technology, current issues relating to the technology, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants have featured on the program since 2008. As a result, the name of the two-day event has been adapted to the Cologne Canal and Wastewater Treatment Colloquium.
